Implementation started
The measure seeks to increase knowledge and awareness of the state of the marine environment. Information materials on the underwater environment, invasive alien species, consequences of small-scale dredging and boating in shallow areas will be prepared. In addition, other information material may be produced, such as information on the nesting seasons of sea birds. All materials will be available in digital form.
Objective of the measure:
By providing information on and increasing knowledge of coastal and marine waters, the public and operators are given a better understanding of the potential effects of various activities. In addition, they are provided with tools to better work together with the sea and nature on nature’s terms with the aim of strengthening and maintaining valuable ecosystem services.
