DESCRIPTION

Measures to improve the state of waters are pressing in some local bays and water catchment areas that have a moderate or bad status. In order to reduce eutrophication and improve the state of waters, a comprehensive approach with a focus on local cooperation is needed. Concrete measures and efforts are needed to address the problem, i.e. runoff from land to waters. The aim is to implement win-win measures, such as walks along ditches, establishing pollution sources, using loading models to identify the most effective measures and providing information and workshops on how to prepare plan proposals and apply for funding to implement the plans.
