The measure focuses on developing a long-term plan for sustainable water supply and wastewater treatment. When preparing the plan, attention must be paid to increased treatment and environmental requirements, outdated water and wastewater infrastructure and the need to expand and improve treatment plants and networks. Aspects such as the effects of climate change and increased nutrient recycling must also be taken into account. The group under measure 1 is the reference group.
